Electronic Document Attestation System (e-DAS) for authentication by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

• When the document holder is a Sri Lankan National AED 160/=
• Attestation of educational certificates( GCE O/L & A/L) AED 45/=
• When the document holder is a Foreign National AED 180/=

Registration of Births

• Birth Registration within 03 months of childbirth – The fee is AED 140/=
• Birth Registration after 03 months of childbirth, surcharge is AED 35/= per year in addition to the birth registration fee of AED 140/=
• For obtaining Citizenship Certificate, the relevant fee is AED 170/=
• Issuance of Certified Copy of a Birth/ Marriage and Death Certificates through eBMD System fee is AED 85/=

Registration of Deaths

• Registration and issuance of a Death Certificate AED 85/=
• Issuance of Certified Copy of a Death Certificate AED 85/=

Attestation, Certification and Authentication (Legalization) of Documents

• Caveat Order AED 115/=
• Attestation of documents as a Justice of Peace AED 250/=
• Swearing or affirming an affidavit AED 250/=
• Administering an oath or affirmation AED 250/=
• Attestation of a Power of Attorney or a Proxy AED 250/=
• Issuance of a certified true copy AED 45/=
